Xbox’s annual Developer Direct is happening soon, and they’ve announced the first three games that will be showcased.
The Xbox Developer Direct is happening on January 22nd at 1 PM Eastern Time / 10 AM Pacific Time / 6 PM in the UK. It will showcase upcoming games from Xbox Game Studios and other developers. Last year’s event highlighted titles like Ninja Gaiden 4, Doom: The Dark Ages, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. As Xbox celebrates its 25th anniversary, Microsoft is teasing a fantastic year for gamers, and the Developer Direct kicks it all off.
Xbox revealed on Thursday that it will showcase more of the upcoming games Fable, Forza Horizon 6, and Beast of Reincarnation at their event.
What Fans Will See At Xbox’s Developer Direct
Playground Games is finally showing fans a longer gameplay demo of Fable, the game expected to launch later this year. They’ll also be revealing gameplay for Forza Horizon 6, which was originally announced at last year’s Tokyo Game Show.
So, Game Freak, the team behind Pokémon, is making a new game called Beast of Reincarnation! It’s an action RPG where you team up with a dog, which sounds awesome. During a special event, they’re going to show off how my character, Emma, uses cool plant powers and how she fights alongside her dog, Koo. I’m really excited to see it in action!
According to Joe Skrebels, editor-in-chief of Xbox Wire, the upcoming Developer_Direct event will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the games in development and the teams creating them. He highlighted that, coinciding with Xbox’s 25th anniversary, the event will feature both returning favorites from well-known franchises and a completely new game from a popular Japanese studio.
We anticipate at least one more game reveal during the event, but its identity remains a mystery. The Xbox Developer Direct is scheduled for Thursday, January 22nd.
