The first official trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie is expected to be released later this month, possibly within the next few weeks.
MyTimeToShine, a reliable source for movie news, reports that the next trailer for the upcoming film will be shown in theaters before the release of Wicked on November 21st. It was initially expected to premiere with Zootopia 2 on November 26th, but the plans have changed.
In addition to its theatrical showing, the outlet adds that it should appear online beforehand.
According to sources, the trailer will be released online before November 21st, and will first appear in theaters alongside the movie Wicked For Good. While it might also be shown before Zootopia 2, Wicked For Good will be its official theatrical premiere. Zootopia 2 releases a week after Wicked For Good.
Nintendo announced during their September Direct that a sequel to the popular 2023 film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, is in the works, titled Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The original cast is returning, including Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Jack Black as Bowser, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is coming to theaters on April 3, 2026 – exactly three years after the first movie was released.
