In Roblox’s Fisch game, there are now two distinct areas to discover: The First Sea and The Second Sea. These expansive bodies of water offer numerous islands for players to venture through, fill their bestiaries, and gather fishing rods, among other treasures. Although the Second Sea represents a different dimension, it shares many similarities with the First Sea. However, Waveborne is a unique location confined within the boundaries of the Second Sea.
As a fresh gamer stepping into this new, unexplored world, I find myself at a place that’s much like Moosewood – the teleportation hub where every adventure begins. The aquatic life here is unique, with each fish having its own peculiar preferences when it comes to bait. Some of these delicacies are sourced from the First Sea, while others are found in the Second. To make things more intriguing, every fish has a specific favorite time to spawn, depending on the weather and season. Mastering the art of catching them all will help me fill up my Waveborne Bestiary in Fisch. Let’s dive in!
How to Complete the Waveborne Bestiary in Fisch
14 freshly-caught fish species from the Second Sea are waiting for you to reel them in, with many of them fetching a good price, particularly the Vortex Ray. However, accessing this area isn’t straightforward; it becomes accessible only after reaching level 200 in the First Sea and overcoming Cthulu’s Boss challenge.
Waveborne Bestiary Location in Fisch
In the game Fisch, Waveborne serves as the primary location in the Second Sea. Upon gaining access, your character will automatically arrive there. To get there, begin by conversing with the Sea Traveler on Terrapin Island. Next, make your way to Silas, who’s standing near a large door. Keep in mind that you must reach level 200 in the First Sea before proceeding. Once accomplished, enter, watch a brief cutscene, and prepare for battle against Cthulu’s Boss. Defeat him to gain access to his chamber; then jump inside, and you’ll be transported directly to Waveborne. If you’ve already defeated the boss, simply speak with the Sea Traveler again, and they will teleport you straight to Waveborne.

Tips to Catch All Waveborne Bestiary Fish in Fisch

Here are some tips to help you fill out the Waveborne bestiary fast:
- Most Waveborne fish can be caught using random bait — whether it’s from the First or Second Sea. But for mythical and exotic ones, Weird Algae usually does the trick. Some fish are a bit picky, though, and will only bite if you’re using their preferred bait, which you can grab from Tropical Bait Crates or while AFK mining in the Second Sea.
- Totems also work here. If a fish doesn’t show up at night, you can use the Sundial Totem to switch the time of day. And if you’re waiting on weather-dependent catches, Smokescreen, Tempest Totem, and Windset Totem can help you cycle through the weather.
- Lastly, fishing rods from the First Sea won’t be as effective in Waveborne, especially when you’re after the high-rarity fish. To make it easier, switch to rods from the Second Sea. You can get your hands on three new ones — the Wildflower Rod, Firefly Rod, and Frog Rod — all available at Waveborne. Just make sure you’ve sold some fish and saved up a bit of money before you grab them.
