As a dedicated gamer of Pokemon GO, I was thrilled to learn that the much-anticipated Pokemon GO Fest 2024 was taking place in Japan, Spain, USA, and various other locations around the world. However, to my surprise, all the proposals during this exciting event unfolded in Madrid, Spain, from June 14 to June 16. Niantic, the masterminds behind Pokemon GO, had kindly requested in advance if any Trainers were planning a romantic proposal, as numerous heartwarming moments had transpired at past GO events.

Five individuals contacted Niantic with their plans, and they were subsequently extended an invitation to propose during the Pikachu and Eevee Meet and Greet event. This way, their special moment would be captured on film with two iconic Pokemon characters serving as witnesses. Martina and Shaun, who have been in a relationship for eight years, spent most of it living apart in different locations. However, when Shaun made the decision to relocate to Barcelona to be with Martina, she expressed that “it was just the perfect timing.” The game of Pokemon Go has played a significant role in their lives by introducing them to new places and allowing them to appreciate the outdoors together, as well as connecting them with other local players who have since become important friends. Their shared enthusiasm for the game brings them joy and strengthens their bond.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Louise announced that she was expecting their daughter, now three years old. “Ultimately, Pokemon Go brought me a wonderful boyfriend (hopefully husband!), a beloved three-year-old daughter, numerous friends in Benidorm, and even companions from different parts of the world,” Ana expressed.

Following the thrilling Pokemon GO Fest 2024 with numerous surprises, trainers eagerly anticipate the upcoming three-part Ultra Unlock event in Pokemon GO. The Ultra Unlock adventure commences on July 17 if at least 20 Global Challenges are accomplished during Habitat Hours on July 13. The first segment, Ultra Unlock Part 1: Steel Challenge, starts three days later and grants trainers the opportunity to discover a new Shiny Pokemon. Lastly, Ultra Unlock Part 3: Mega Raid Day marks the third and concluding event for Pokemon GO Fest 2024: Global, where players might be lucky enough to encounter a Shiny variant during this special raid day.
