These Pokemon share the same conditions for evolution, which involve using Applin Candies and special Apples found within Pokemon GO. While you can accumulate Applin Candies by catching/releasing many Applins, the in-game Apples only show up during particular events.
How To Get Apples In Pokemon GO?
2025 marks the introduction of the Pokemon GO event called “Sweet Discoveries,” where players can find and collect Applins and a new in-game item known as Apples. These Apples can be found randomly on the map by tapping on them, granting various rewards. Additionally, you can obtain Apples by finishing specific Research tasks during highlighted events. In the world of Pokemon GO, I managed to figure out a way to evolve my cute little Applin into an Appletun – here’s how you do it: First, gather 20 Tart Apples and 200 Applin Candies. Once you have these items, use the candies to power up your Applin, and then feed it those tart apples. After that, just wait for the transformation!

Pokemon GO: Is Shiny Appletun Available?
