The film made its way to theaters on January 24, 2025, and it seems that audiences are enjoying it – as evidenced by its box office success, with the film taking the number one spot with a whopping $12 million in earnings during its opening weekend. As a follower, I’ve got to admit that the reviews from the critics haven’t been exactly glowing – they’ve given it a 26% on Rotten Tomatoes. But here’s the twist: the audience seems to be quite appreciative, with an impressive 63% score. The story revolves around me being escorted by a US Marshal in a plane, en route to testify against a major mob enforcer. However, there’s a surprising twist – the pilot turns out to be connected to this mob guy and is determined to eliminate us both before we can make it to our destination.

In this tale, I find myself as Daryl, a pilot piloting a tiny aircraft carrying Winston, a mob informant destined for Anchorage to testify against a notorious crime lord. Accompanying us is Deputy U.S. Marshal Madelyn Harris, but our journey takes an unexpected turn when it’s exposed that the genuine pilot has been replaced by me – a cold-blooded assassin tasked with eliminating both Winston and Madelyn.

Winston becomes suspicious upon seeing a photograph of the authentic pilot, desperately trying to catch Madelyn’s attention. As for Madelyn, she harbors her own reservations about my true identity, noticing blood stains on my neck and body. It turns out that I am indeed an assassin, hired by the mob to carry out this double hit. A struggle breaks out, resulting in me losing my wig, revealing a striking bald look.

Madelyn manages to subdue me with a taser and binds me at the rear of the aircraft.

There’s one major hurdle, though. Neither Madelyn nor Winston possess the skill of flying a plane, and Daryl has no interest in teaching them. This is when Hasan (Monib Abhat), a skilled pilot, enters the scene. After Madelyn manages to connect with her coworker, Van Sant (Leah Remini), through a satellite phone for help, Hasan guides Madelyn on how to master the plane’s controls effectively, following her intuitive efforts to prevent it from crashing.

How Does Flight Risk End?

Following Daryl’s mocking remarks about Madelyn’s challenging work history, she becomes enraged and physically assaults him. In response, he manages to snatch her sunglasses and carefully unravels the strap, eventually escaping. Later, Daryl attacks Winston, plunging a knife into his chest, causing heavy bleeding. He then turns his aggression towards Madelyn, attempting to choke her with a strap. Remarkably, Winston removes the knife from his wound and cuts the strap, saving Madelyn. She restrains Daryl once more, binding him again. However, during the attempt to land the plane, Daryl attacks Madelyn once more. This time, she defends herself by firing a flare gun at him, striking him on the head with a fire extinguisher, and dousing him afterward.

Madelyn safely lands the plane, but Daryl unfortunately falls out during landing and gets hit by a vehicle. Winston is rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, while Madelyn investigates the scene. She suspects there was a leak of sensitive information since Daryl knew too much about the project. Rushing into the ambulance, she saves Winston from a man trying to choke him by shooting and killing that individual. It is later revealed that Director Coleridge (played by Paul Ben-Victor) was the main antagonist, and Madelyn eavesdrops on a call between him and the now deceased villain.
