Flow Controller & Magnetron Locations (Snap and Salvage) in ARC Raiders

The “Snap and Salvage” quest is the third you’ll get from Tian Wen in ARC Raiders. To complete it, you first need to photograph the Rovers in the Sandbox area. Then, you’ll have to find some documents at the Security Checkpoint. Finally, locate a Magnetron and a Flow Controller and bring them back to Tian Wen. Here’s a simple guide to finishing the “Snap and Salvage” quest in ARC Raiders.

To start the Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders, you need to go to either the Robotic Sandbox A or B locations on the Stella Montis map. Both of these spots are found on the second, lower level of the map, so you’ll have to descend to reach them.

When you find a Robotic Sandbox, you’ll see a Rover next to a sand pile. Before you get close, clear out any nearby turrets, Pops, Fireballs, and Shredders. Shredders are tough to defeat, so if you can sneak past one, that’s a good idea.

Once the area is secure, just go up to the Rover and interact with it—your character will then begin taking a photo. After the photo is taken, the first step of the Snap and Salvage quest will be finished.

Search for Papers in the Security Checkpoint Room near the Lobby in Snap and Salvage (Location)

In ARC Raiders, your next goal takes you to the main lobby of Stella Montis and into the Security Checkpoint room. You’ll find the lobby on the first floor of the map, and be aware that several ARC machines are patrolling the area.

The Security Checkpoint Room will have a desk positioned in front of its entrance, and the wall beside it will clearly state “Security Restricted Access.” The room’s door will be locked, requiring players to force it open to get inside – unless another player has already unlocked it.

Once you’re inside the Security Checkpoint Room, check the green desk for a stack of papers. Examining these papers will finish the second step of the Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders.

How to Get Magnetron & Flow Controller in ARC Raiders (Locations)

To finish the Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders, you’ll need to find two items: the Magnetron and the Flow Controller. Both of these are Exodus materials located in the Business Center and Assembly areas on the first layer of Stella Montis.

You can also find these items by checking the red lockers inside the Rocket Assembly building on the Spaceport map.

You’ll find Magnetron and Flow Controller hidden in lockers and drawers within the Business Center and Assembly areas on Stella Montis. Once you locate them, it’s a good idea to store at least one in your safe pocket, because you’ll need them to escape.

Once you give Tian Wen the Magnetron and Flow Controller, the “Snap and Salvage” quest in ARC Raiders will be finished. You’ll then receive the Burletta III weapon, a Silencer II attachment, an Extended Light Mag attachment, and 100 Light Ammo as a reward.
