Fnatic Seeking $100 Million Buyout From Interested Parties

Fnatic, a long-standing and well-known esports organization in Europe, is looking at a potential sale worth around $100 million. Reports indicate that several groups are interested in buying the brand, and Fnatic is working with a consulting firm to find investors.

Several companies from various industries – like traditional sports, media, and entertainment – are reportedly interested in buying the asset.

Fnatic Wants a Full Acquisition

Recent reports indicate that several major investors are interested in buying Fnatic, a well-known and historically successful esports organization. While the company’s revenue has decreased recently, it still has significant growth potential.

As a long-time fan, I’ve always admired how Fnatic wasn’t just about winning tournaments. They were pioneers, always looking for ways to grow beyond just the competition itself. Back in 2016, they created Fnatic Gear, their own line of really high-quality gaming accessories. It was a huge success – they sold over a million units before eventually selling the brand to Sony’s INZONE, which is pretty amazing!

Reaching $100 million is a significant milestone. Recently, esports teams have been bought for considerably less, even though they were often estimated to be worth much more internally.

Luminosity sold for a little over $3 million in 2025, while FaZe Clan was worth only $18 million in 2023. FaZe Clan had previously been valued much higher, at $725 million, but the company’s instability caused its value to drop quickly.

Analysts have argued that if any organization can command that tag, it’s Fnatic.
