Fntastic’s Latest Game Attempt Fails So They Announce Another Game

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen studios come and go, but Fntastic seems to be in a league of its own when it comes to resilience. After their attempt at Escape Factory fell flat, they’re back with another game, Items. It’s like they’re playing a game of studio musical chairs – just keep spinning until you find one that sticks!

Fantastic has persistently chosen not to surrender. After declaring a return in September and initiating a Kickstarter campaign for a new game titled Escape Factory, Fantastic is back once more to share news. In this instance, they are informing everyone that the funding endeavors for Escape Factory were unsuccessful, and thus, its development will not proceed.

But don’t worry, Fntastic isn’t going away that easy.

Simultaneously expressing a lack of enthusiasm towards Escape Factory, Fntastic unveiled plans for their next game titled Items. This upcoming title is described as an “exciting blend of action and horror, similar to a prop hunt game” – something many have allegedly been anticipating.

For Items, unlike Escape Factory, there’s no trailer or playable demo at present. The developers, though, have promised that when they release a “fully functional demo,” they might launch another crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to secure funding.

They mentioned in their statement that it matters to them that gamers have an opportunity to try out and experience the game ahead of time.

To wrap things up, Fntastic mentioned they plan to introduce some fresh mobile games to help finance the creation of Items. At this point, no specific games have been disclosed.

Following Fantastic’s unveiling of their return plans in September, it became clear, rather swiftly, that Escape Factory was essentially a game built using pre-made assets. However, the studio refuted these allegations.
