Folly of the Wizards announced by Numskull Games

Numskull Games will publish the roguelike game “Folly of the Wizards,” which was created by UpFox Labs.

This game is a funny, fast-paced 2D action game where you play as a clumsy wizard’s apprentice. You’ll join a quirky wizarding group, learn cool spells, battle enemies, and explore ever-changing dungeons all to save the world from falling into chaos.

Numskull Games has released several games, including Clive N Wrench and the beat-em-up Final Vendetta. In our review of Final Vendetta, we praised its modern take on classic beat-em-up gameplay, calling the combat addictive and the enemy variety engaging. While the game can be difficult, and blocking can be tricky, we ultimately enjoyed the experience. It’s especially fun to play with a friend – or even a younger player – as cooperative play really highlights the game’s detailed combat system.
