Former League Of Legends Coach Sentenced On Child Sex Offenses

As a gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the news about Lorcan ‘Lorcz’ Elliott’s sentencing is deeply disheartening. The fact that someone who was once a respected figure in our community could commit such heinous acts is truly shocking. It reminds us that we can never be too careful about who we trust, even within the gaming world.

Today is a disheartening day as we learn about some horrific actions that were once associated with individuals who held significant respect within the esports community. Specifically, Lorcan ‘Lorcz’ Elliott, a former UK League of Legends coach, has been given a prison sentence for child sex offenses. He will serve four years and eight months behind bars

Earlier today (September 4, 2024), a previous League of Legends coach received an official sentence, according to news reported by Esports News UK

League Of Legends Coach Sentenced To Almost 5 Years In Prison

Previously, a coach for League of Legends admitted guilt to 22 distinct charges involving child sex crimes. The individual was convicted of enticing children into sexual activities, photographing children inappropriately, sharing such inappropriate images, and trying to engage in sexually explicit discussions with minors

In the future, Elliot will not be allowed to work in any profession involving children, and he has been legally registered as a sex offender. Previously, he had received a seven-year prison sentence, but this term was shortened since there were no previous criminal records against him

Elliot had also sent sexual photographs and videos of himself to underage children.

Lorcan Elliot Charged On 22 Accounts Of Child Sex Offenses

Lorcan Elliot was a notable name in the UK League of Legends scene just a few years ago, as the man worked as an esports coach on several different teams. Some of these teams included Nuclear Storm, London Esports and Giants.

The individual, too, invested numerous hours competing for the University of Cambridge in National Student Esports League of Legends college tournaments

It’s truly disappointing when someone can operate undetected for so long, even among colleagues in their field, unaware of the harmful and reprehensible intentions hidden within that person

Hopefully, no one ever has to fall victim to Elliot’s behavior ever again.
