As a seasoned gamer with years of Fortnite under my belt, I must admit that the recent changes to the Battle Pass and Crew Subscription have left me scratching my virtual head. While an extra 50 V-Bucks might not break the bank for some, it’s a noticeable increase for us dedicated players who grind every day to climb those tiers.
Starting December 1st, I’ll be shelling out an extra 50 V-Bucks for my Fortnite Battle Royale Battle Pass – it used to cost 950, but now it’s going up to 1,000 V-Bucks. The good news is, the real-world money cost of V-Bucks will remain unchanged. I can still keep grinding for those V-Bucks as I move through the Battle Pass tiers. On top of that, the price for the 25 Battle Pass Reward Bundle has been trimmed down to 1,800 V-Bucks from its previous price of 1,850 V-Bucks.
Starting December 1st, I’m stoked about the updates coming to my Fortnite Crew subscription! Not only are they including the Music Pass and LEGO Pass at no extra cost, but I’ll still get my Battle Royale Battle Pass, 1000 V-Bucks, monthly crew pack outfits, and bonus styles for those outfits. Plus, they’re adding new passes like the Fortnite OG Pass to the mix! This is gonna make my gaming experience even better!
Users who decide to discontinue their Fortnite Crew membership can continue to collect premium rewards from the Battle Pass until their billing cycle concludes, but they won’t be able to do so for the rest of the Battle Pass term. On the other hand, those who keep their subscription active won’t see any changes in the system. Furthermore, individuals who buy the Battle Pass, LEGO Pass, or Music Pass individually will still have a chance to acquire and redeem premium rewards.
