Fortnite’s Godzilla Transformation Mythic Will Arrive This Friday, It’s Claimed

Based on the latest information that’s leaked, it appears that gamers might get the chance to assume the form of Godzilla in Fortnite, as a new legendary item is expected to debut this coming Friday.

According to trusted leaker HYPEX, as reported by TheGamer, Fortnite will introduce a Godzilla-themed mythic item this coming Friday, January 17th. This new mythic feature will enable players to transform into massive Godzillas, unleashing destructive powers across the game’s islands with their monstrous abilities. Once transformed, players can employ skills like Beam Attack, Stomp, Roar, and others. Moreover, a “banana throw” ability, hinted at in the game files, is speculated to be associated with a Kong-themed mythic item.

Yesterday, Godzilla made a grand entrance onto Fortnite Island, initiating the exciting Godzilla X Kong collaboration. We’ve previously witnessed the Japanese monster invade our island, and it won’t be long before King Kong from Skull Island follows suit. The possibility of King Kong appearing means that thrilling Godzilla vs Kong encounters could soon become a reality for players during this season.

According to a recent leak by HYPEX, it’s been confirmed that Mechagodzilla will be joining Fortnite as well. The description of the shop item suggests that the “B.E.A.S.T. Glove Emote” produces different sounds when paired with either Mechagodzilla or Godzilla.
