Four Years Later, These Are the Games the Nvidia GeForce Now Leak Got Right and Wrong (So Far)

On September 13, 2021, an unintended disclosure of games for Nvidia’s GeForce Now subscription service showed upcoming titles. Some games, like New Super Mario Bros. Wii, were possibly included due to confidential or testing purposes. However, upon further scrutiny, it appeared that some of the listed games suggested future, unreleased PC versions of games such as Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which were still exclusives at the time of the leak. Additionally, there were a number of titles that wouldn’t typically be added to GeForce Now without question, most of these being in development.

Today, four years on from the initial leak, the collection of games announced and released continues to expand. Some eagerly await their turn on store shelves, despite gamers who followed the leak having known about them for some time. Others may not be officially confirmed, but with whispers surrounding a handful of titles, there’s speculation that the Nvidia GeForce Now leak could have been the first hint of their existence. By 2025, it is now clear that the leak gave us advance knowledge of 51 games, while another 29 titles are yet to make an appearance.

Among all the games leaked, “Tomb Raider Anniversary” seems quite unusual. Initially, it was labeled for a 2021 release, but some gamers believe this might have been a placeholder for the Tomb Raider 1-3 remasters that finally dropped in 2024. However, Aspyr Media hasn’t officially confirmed this yet, so the true nature of this part of the leak remains unclear.

Despite the fact that more games have emerged from this leak than those not yet released, it’s crucial to remember that game development is a dynamic and unpredictable process. Many games in progress could be scrapped due to various reasons. Just because a much-anticipated game might be canceled following its appearance in the GeForce leak, the quantity of titles that have surfaced from it is astonishing. Even today, four years later, new confirmations are still rolling in. It might not be long before eager fans finally get their hands on the title they’ve been waiting for since GeForce leaked the information, so they should stay attentive for official updates from their preferred developers.
