What Are Relics (& How Do They Work) In FragPunk?
At Level 15, players can unlock special items known as Relics. These Relics provide a unique set of benefits, altering the gameplay dynamics. During the strategy phase of Shard Clash, players can choose to activate their chosen Relic, which will remain active throughout the entire game. Once a player selects a Relic for play, they cannot change it in subsequent rounds.
Instead of Shard Cards, Relics can be utilized without the need for Shard Points. However, it’s important to note that there are a couple of conditions attached to using Relics, so players should take care in making their choices.
How To Unlock Relics In FragPunk
Instead of acquiring Shard Cards by completing matches, you can obtain Relics directly using the currency called Gold. You can accumulate this Gold by winning matches and participating in specific events, and it’s absolutely free to acquire. To purchase a Relic, navigate to the Relic section within the Shard Card tab on the main menu once you reach Level 15. At that point, you will be able to buy individual Relics for 2,000 Gold each.
