Every time a new live-service game launches, I can’t help but be one of those players eagerly diving into the action to find out what the buzz is all about. And that goes for FragPunk, too!

The initial run of FragPunk prompts you to select a username. If you hastily entered something without giving it much thought and jumped straight into a game, there’s no cause for concern – you can modify it later. Let’s explore how! Here’s your step-by-step guide.

How To Change Your Username in FragPunk

Using FragPunk’s user interface and menus might feel confusing at first, so don’t worry if you struggle to change your username. This is different from other games as in FragPunk, you need a Rename Card to alter your name. However, every player starts with at least one of these cards in their inventory.

Primary Method to Change Your Username

Since you already have a Rename Card, follow these steps to change your username:

  1. Click on your username in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Go to the Basic tab (the first tab on the left).
  3. Click on the pen icon next to the page icon, which is located beside your name.
  4. Enter your new username and click Confirm.

Remember that if you decide to change your username, you’ll need to wait for a full week before you can do so again due to the seven-day restriction.

Alternative Method to Change Your Username

You can also change your name by using the Rename Card directly from your inventory:

  1. Go to the main screen and click on the Arsenal tab.
  2. Select the Bag tab.
  3. Locate the Rename Card and click Use.

This will allow you to set a brand-new username in no time.
