Sony revealed that PlayStation Plus members will get five free games in December as part of their monthly subscription benefit.
From December 2nd to January 5th, PlayStation Plus members of all tiers can get a selection of both new and previously released games – perfect if you missed out on some titles in the past few years.
Just a heads-up for my fellow gamers: you’ve still got time to snag November’s free games, but the deadline is December 1st, so don’t forget to claim them before they’re gone!
PlayStation Plus Essential Games for December 2025

As previously noted, Sony is offering PlayStation Plus subscribers five free games this December—a step up from the usual three. According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, they wanted to create a particularly great selection of games for the month.
There are five games being released this month, but they won’t be available everywhere. You can see if they’re available in your area by checking the PlayStation Store on December 2nd.
This month, the five games available for PlayStation Plus subscribers are:
- LEGO Horizon Adventures | PS5
- Killing Floor 3 | PS5
- The Outlast Trials | PS4, PS5
- Synduality Echo of Ada | PS5
- Neon White | PS4, PS5
Hey everyone! I’m really curious to hear what you all think about the free games PlayStation Plus is offering this December. Let me know your thoughts in the comments! Also, if you’re interested in chatting more about games, we have a cool Discord server you can join – the link is below!
