As a long-time survivor in the post-apocalyptic world of 7 Days to Die, I’ve seen my fair share of zombies and scraped together enough resources to build fortresses that would make even the most hardened survivalist envious. But despite all these years, I can’t help but feel that something’s missing from my journey – a sense of adventure, a reason to explore beyond the familiar confines of the Pine Forest.


7 Days to Die has finally seen its complete release following nearly 12 years in Early Access. Despite this long development phase, the game will persistently evolve with a vibrant modding scene for 7 Days to Die, along with numerous anticipated post-release updates.

In their latest updates, 7 Days to Die has been making a concerted effort to tackle a significant challenge in the game by enhancing the importance of crafting and looting, thereby extending the game’s progression. Although this is a positive step forward, it may be beneficial for 7 Days to Die to examine another early access game like Valheim for additional inspiration for future updates.
