Gaimin Gladiators Returns to Rainbow Six After 21-Month Hiatus

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say, the return of Gaimin Gladiators to the Rainbow Six Siege scene is nothing short of exhilarating! After a 21-month hiatus, their comeback couldn’t have been more timely. The acquisition of Team Bliss’ roster, a team that has made it to the stage at the Six Invitational and several BLAST R6 Major events, gives me a glimmer of hope for what the future holds.

In January 2023, Gaimin Gladiators publicly criticized Ubisoft’s management of the Rainbow Six Siege community and decided to withdraw from the related environment. They stated that they had been struggling with a lack of communication from Ubisoft, and at that time, numerous other organizations also chose to step back from participating.

Now, Gaimin Gladiators are making their comeback, having taken over the old lineup from Team Bliss. This move marks their re-entry into the Rainbow Six gaming scene after an absence of approximately 21 months.

Back in the Game

In a post on social media, Gaimin Gladiators revealed the signing of the former Team Bliss squad:

  • Wettables
  • Fishoguy
  • Sageon
  • Brendo
  • Tuhan

The organization has additionally selected Titan, Mingoran, and Golden for their roles in management and team training.

Hey there! It seems like the ancient battlefield is alive once more after a long hiatus. The majestic COLISEUM now echoes with the presence of the Australian Rainbow Six GLADIATORS!

After joining Rainbow Six Siege in 2022, Gaimin Gladiators struggled to stand out, leading to their withdrawal from the competitive scene within a year. Now that they’ve had some time to regroup, there’s optimism that the team can achieve greater success, as Team Bliss has experienced notable victories and even reached the stage of the Six Invitational and multiple BLAST R6 Major tournaments.

More recently, the team has competed in events such as the Six Invitational in Sao Paulo, the BLAST R6 Manchester Major, and the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, securing a place in each competition.

After quite some wait, now seems like an astute moment to return to Rainbow Six Siege. This year has been exceptional for the game’s competitive scene, and with consistent support from Ubisoft, the game is consistently improving in a positive direction.
