According to a post on the MSI’s official Discord server (as reported by videocardz), the company anticipates that they won’t have any stock left in their official stores as of January 30th. However, customers can still place pre-orders, but only for the limited stock allocation available.

According to MSI, we’ll start taking pre-orders for the RTX 5090 on January 30th, 6 AM Pacific Standard Time, with an expected shipping date of February 6th. The RTX 5080 will become available for purchase on the same day, January 30th, at 6 AM PST, and it will ship immediately. The pre-order window for the RTX 5090 opens on January 30th at 6 AM PST.

It’s worth mentioning that other stores aside from the U.S. official one may also carry the 5090 model, but keep in mind that this information pertains exclusively to the U.S. official store.

It appears that the availability of the newest top-tier graphics cards will likely be extremely limited, regardless of their intended use.

If you need an RTX 5090 right away, you could consider brands like Asus, Gigabyte, or others instead of MSI, following their recent announcement. You might end up paying even more if you choose to buy one from an unofficial source.

On January 30th, the new RTX 5090 model is scheduled for release with a recommended selling price of $1,999. Simultaneously, the RTX 5080 will be released on the same day, priced at $999.
