Gege Comments On Yuji And Sukuna’s Bond

At a recent Q&A session for JJK, the author shared insights into his characters and their relationships. One key connection he discussed was between Yuji and Sukuna, which he likened to Yuta’s bond with Rika. Just as Yuta carries Rika within him, Yuji has Sukuna inside of him. However, Sukuna followed a unique course. The author also drew parallels between the dynamic between Yuji Itadori and Sukuna to that of Naruto and Kurama.

Gege Adds His Own Twists

Similar to Sukuna, Kurama harbored intense animosity and consistently pursued his individual objectives. Initially hostile towards Naruto, Kurama ultimately allied with him.

However, there are some distinctions. For one, Sukuna never formed an alliance with Yuji, instead working independently. Sukuna served as the main antagonist in JJK, eventually being defeated by Yuji. This shows how the author cleverly adapts elements from other narratives, making it intriguing indeed. Interestingly, at the end, Yuji did extend a helping hand to Sukuna, and if he had accepted, their relationship might have mirrored Naruto and Kurama’s, which would have been an enjoyable twist in its own right.
