Okay, so you can’t actually redeem those Pokémon GO codes in the app itself. You have to click the link to go to the official store page and sign in there. Then, when you open Pokémon GO again, check under the ‘Events’ tab – look for the binoculars icon on the map! You should see a new set of research tasks pop up. It’s a four-step thing, and if you complete it all, you’ll finally get Sylveon as a reward! Pretty cool, right?
