What is Bullet/Bullet About?
Potentially a Spring 2025 Hit?

Bullet/Bullet is an innovative original net animation (ONA) produced by the acclaimed director Park Sunghoo, who worked on both God of High School and JUJUTSU KAISEN season 1. This production comes from E&H Production, a studio that won the Crunchyroll 2025 Best Original Anime Award for Ninja Kamui, and Gaga Corporation. Set in a dystopian future wasteland, the story revolves around characters like Gear, a gambler named Shirokuma, and the robot Qu-0213, who run an unconventional business returning stolen items to their rightful owners. Their peaceful existence is disrupted when a girl named Noa arrives, seeking their help in stealing something valuable. This act could potentially alter the world as they know it. The main characters in Bullet/Bullet are voiced by well-known actors such as Marina Inoue (Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan) as Gear; Kazuhiro Yamaji as Shirokuma; three distinct versions of Qu-0213: Nosa-ane voiced by Rie Kugimiya, Kau-ane voiced by Kana Hanazawa (Angel in Angel Beats), Naka-ani voiced by Tomokazu Seki (Gintoki in Gintama and Taro Sakamoto in Sakamoto Days), and Ei-baba voiced by Ai Orikasa. Asami Seto, who played Chihaya Ayase in Chihayafuru, voices Noa.
Previously mentioned, Series creator Park Sunghoo spent a decade crafting the story. Aki Kindaichi, known for Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, will pen the scripts, and Takahiro Yoshimatsu from Hunter x Hunter [2011] is in charge of character design. Hidetaka Tenjin, who worked on Hellsing: Ultimate as mechanical designer and special effects, handles concept and mechanical design. Shin Misawa, director of Capeta, takes on the role of “car action director”. The opening theme song is “Work Hard” by Chanmina, while the closing theme tune is “Glass Door” by Newspeak.
Bullet/Bullet will premiere on July 16 on Disney+.
