To prepare, the characters are working hard to become stronger, and Boruto Uzumaki has recently returned to Konoha to train and unlock new abilities, with his training already underway.

Sasuke performed exceptionally well, even managing to injure Code by taking one of his eyes. Despite this, Code’s numerous Claw Grimes overwhelmed Sasuke, ultimately leading to his defeat.

He sacrificed himself to save Boruto Uzumaki, and Boruto promised to find a way to revive him. Boruto also inherited Sasuke’s sword and now fights with it.

The weapon Boruto uses is about to get a major upgrade. As seen recently, Boruto has access to technology from the future, thanks to Kashin Koji. He used this technology to create a special scroll and gave it to Sumire, who actually developed this tech in the future. By giving her his sword along with the scroll, Boruto has essentially asked her to enhance it with future technology, which is a really exciting development. Any enhancements the sword is receiving right now will then benefit Sasuke Uchiha, making him even more powerful.
