In March 2025, Pokemon GO is set to highlight Totodile as the spotlight Pokemon during their Community Day Classic event. During this special event, players will encounter various benefits such as a unique move that Totodile’s evolution can temporarily learn.

As the end of Dual Destiny season approaches in March, Niantic has unveiled the dates for the subsequent five Community Day events in Pokemon GO. These events offer players increased chances to gain XP, catch Shiny Pokemon, and acquire beneficial items, which may be crucial for the upcoming Raid Day events during the forthcoming season.

In March 2025, Totodile will take center stage at the Pokemon GO Community Day Classic event on Saturday, March 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., local time. This means you’ll see more Totodiles in the wild during this three-hour period, and there’s a higher chance of finding a Shiny Totodile! If you evolve Croconaw, Totodile’s evolution, before March 29 at 10:00 p.m., local time, your Feraligatr will learn the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. During this event, players can also enjoy extra perks like eggs hatching four times faster when placed in incubators, lure modules and incense lasting three hours each, and the chance to catch Smeargle using Pokemon GO’s snapshot feature.

Pokemon GO Brings Back Totodile for March 2025 Community Day Classic Event

  • The event will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Just like previous Community Day events in Pokemon GO, there will be Field Research tasks themed around Community Day Classic with rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, and extra Totodile encounters. In addition to these encounters, there will also be a bonus Seasonal Special Background. For an additional fee of $2, players can acquire the Community Day Classic Special Research, which grants a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more Totodile encounters. Players with Great Friend or higher relationship levels can even buy Special Research gift tickets for their friends.

Extra prizes can be won by visiting PokeStops and participating in PokeStop Showcases during the Community Day Classic event. At the end of it all, two Community Day Classic packs will be offered in the Pokemon GO in-game market. The first pack, priced at 1,350 PokeCoins, comes with 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, one Elite Charged Technical Machine, and five Lucky Eggs. For a more affordable price of 480 PokeCoins, the second pack offers 30 Ultra Balls, an Incense, three Super Incubators, and one Lure Module.
