In the bounty quest ‘The Nameless Killer‘ from Ghost of Yotei, Atsu is tasked with stopping a murderer who is kidnapping and killing local settlers for fun. The killer then leaves the bodies in the snow for others to discover.
This guide will show you where to locate the Nameless Killer, how to beat him in battle, and what you’ll earn as a reward for completing the bounty. Here’s a detailed look.

Nameless Killer Location in Ghost of Yotei
You’ll find the Nameless Killer at the end of Snow’s Blight Shrine, located on the Teshio Coast, northwest of the Red Crane Inn in the Teshio Ridge area of *Ghost of Yotei*. He’s the boss of a large camp filled with Nine Tails shinobi. To reach him, you first need to solve the Snow’s Blight Shrine Puzzle and defeat all the Saito clan shinobi guarding the main fort where he’s hiding.
Once you’ve picked up the poster for the Nameless Killer from the Bounty Board, head towards the Teshio Coast. Follow the quest marker on your map, and look for two burning braziers that mark the path between unusual stone cliffs (as shown in the image).
Once you’ve defeated the enemies, you’ll encounter a Kitsune puzzle that’s blocking your way. To solve it, you’ll need to arrange the fox statues correctly and light the braziers in the proper sequence.

Snow’s Blight Hideout Guide in Ghost of Yotei
Once you’ve solved the Shrine puzzle and followed the narrow path, you’ll arrive at the Snow’s Blight Hideout. This is a large area filled with Nine Tails shinobi, so you’ll need to defeat them all. After that, Atsu will point out that the only remaining task is to head to the main fort located at the top of the cliff.
Go up the stairs to the fort, then open the door at the end to start the battle with the Nameless Killer.
There are multiple hidden rooms in the fort containing some nice loot. Explore everything.
How to Kill the Nameless Killer in Ghost of Yotei
The Nameless Killer isn’t a solo boss – he’s assisted by four other shinobi, each with unique weapons. The Nameless Killer himself is the enemy in white armor, carrying a large spear and shield.
Okay, so this boss has a TON of health, so my strategy is to clear out all the other enemies first and save him for last. If I’ve unlocked all the weapons, making sure they’re set up right is a huge help. Just a heads-up, these other guys love to throw this white powder – it totally blinds Atsu and messes up her dodging, so I gotta be ready for that. If I keep that in mind, the whole fight should be pretty manageable.
After you defeat the Nameless Killer, search his body to find the Nameless Death Weapon Kit. Then, go back to Kojiro the Bounty Broker to collect your 2,000 Coin reward for finishing the bounty.
Before you leave the area after defeating the Nameless Killer, be sure to check out the Altar of Reflection on the left – you’ll earn a Weapon Technique point there.
