God of War Prime Video Series Reunites Game Actor With Mimir Role

Prime Video’s upcoming God of War series has added three new actors to its cast, one of whom previously voiced the character in the popular video games.

Okay, so this is awesome news for the upcoming God of War show! Variety is reporting that Alastair Duncan is officially playing Mimir – and honestly, it wouldn’t feel right if anyone else did! He was Mimir in the last couple of God of War games, and he absolutely nailed it. Plus, they’ve cast Danny Woodburn and Jeff Gulka as Brok and Sindri, which is fantastic – those two are perfect for those roles. I’m super excited to see them bring these characters to life on screen!

I’m really excited about Mimir! He sounds like a fascinating character – apparently super cheerful but also incredibly intelligent, and he actually says he’s the smartest person around! He’s going to be Odin’s advisor, and I can’t wait to see Mandy Patinkin play him. Oh, and we’re also getting the dwarven blacksmiths Brok and Sindri, which is awesome!
