However, after being transformed into Super Saiyan 4 by Neva, Goku managed a few hits against Gomah, but it wasn’t enough to defeat him. Similarly, Vegeta’s SSJ3 transformation merely scratched Gomah, not defeating him. Realizing the dire situation, Glorio knew that only the adult Saiyans could stop Gomah from winning. So, he took the necessary steps to revert everyone back to their adult selves. Now, as adults, Goku and Vegeta are considerably stronger than their younger forms, finally giving them a chance at defeating Gomah.
