As an ardent fan, I find myself immersed in the thrilling world of Dragon Ball DAIMA! Our beloved characters, Goku and his friends, have been reduced to child-sized forms, but that doesn’t diminish their spirit. However, they’re finding it challenging to keep pace with the formidable Supreme Demon King, Gomah. The malevolent influence of the Evil Third Eye continues to spur him on, and it seems only something colossal can bring him down. With the summoning of Porunga from the Demon Realm, this might be Earth’s heroes’ last chance to regain the upper hand before the grand finale of Dragon Ball DAIMA unfolds!
In what seemed like Goku’s impending victory against the final Tamagami, setting the stage for summoning the eternal dragon of the Demon Realm, two malevolent schemes unexpectedly surfaced. Confident in her warrior’s strength, Arinsu first proposed that Majin Duu engage Goku, with the victor gaining all three Dragon Balls from the Demon Realm. As this battle intensified, Supreme Demon King Gomah appeared, armed with the ominous power of the Tertian Oculus. Even Super Saiyan 4 Goku (Mini) was unable to defeat Gomah, but the wish granted by Demon Realm Porunga in the next-to-last episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA promises a significant turning point.
Dragon Ball DAIMA: Glorio Redeems Himself With Second Betrayal
Goku Turns a Villain Into an Ally Once Again
In Dragon Ball DAIMA, you can always expect the unexpected. Right from the start, Supreme Demon King Gomah saw his scheme crumble due to Shenron’s rule of only granting one wish. Though he successfully miniaturized Earth’s heroes, it wasn’t until much later, when luck swung into play, that he received the Evil Third Eye. Throughout most of the series, Dr. Arinsu appeared poised to become the greatest enemy for Goku and his allies. However, while the Majin brothers stood by her side, it was actually Glorio who held the key to Arinsu’s plot. As they ventured through the Demon Realm, Glorio grew fond of his new companions yet remained in secret contact with Arinsu, updating her on their progress.
In the culmination of Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 18, Arinsu activated her double agent role and instructed Glorio to retrieve the remaining two Demon Realm Dragon Balls. The onlookers, including Panzy, Bulma, and others, gaped in astonishment as Glorio aligned with Dr. Arinsu, conjuring the Demon Realm Porunga. Amidst Arinsu’s verbal reprimands, Glorio’s thoughts wandered to the journey that had led him to this critical juncture. Memories of Goku, Panzy, Shin, and their companions filled Glorio’s mind before he uttered his wish: “Peltotep… Sari… Kontoputtorahtons… Tela… Chilldopp!” The wish brought about an effect that benefited Earth’s heroes, as those miniaturized by Gomah’s wish to Shenron began growing back to their regular adult sizes. Realizing Glorio had chosen to betray her rather than the others, Arinsu swiftly dismissed him, but Goku and friends warmly welcomed Glorio back into their midst.
Arinsu rejoiced, anticipating the infusion of magical energy, yet Glorio’s desire surprisingly met the exact requirements of Earth’s champions.
Dragon Ball DAIMA: Evil Eye Gomah vs. Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta
Yet Another Villain Decides to Help Goku
Following their return to their adult forms after Dragon Ball DAIMA’s premiere, old routines took over once more. Goku proposed they resume fighting individually instead of as a team, but it was Vegeta’s turn to battle since Goku had faced Majin Duu earlier. After trying out his base form for a moment, Vegeta activated his most powerful transformation. With a burst of energy, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, for the first time in a full-sized form, made his debut in the Dragon Ball series.
This significantly boosted power, yet Gomah remained unfazed, seemingly unaffected by the might of the Evil Third Eye. Vegeta was nearing the major flaw in Super Saiyan 3 transformation – its rapid energy consumption. Realizing that even this didn’t deter Gomah, Arinsu recalled a crucial fact from Abura’s era and summoned Majin Kuu to fetch the Book of Enchanted Artifacts.
Vegeta was also nearing the major drawback of transforming into a Super Saiyan 3, as keeping this form rapidly depleted his energy stores.
In the latest chapter of Dragon Ball DAIMA, I found myself joining the ranks of Earth’s heroes, as per the ancient text’s revelation. Addressing Goku and his companions, I disclosed that the Tertian Oculus could be expelled from Gomah if they struck his head thrice consecutively. Much like other villains in this series who have momentarily allied with Goku during intense battles, I dismissed their gratitude and made it clear my actions were solely driven by my desire to defeat Gomah.
Goku and Piccolo devised a strategy, but it took Bulma’s playful threat of never sharing another bath with Vegeta to convince the proud Saiyan to relinquish his position in the battle. As Piccolo stealthily maneuvered into place, Goku charged through successive transformations. In a brilliant burst of energy, the towering Super Saiyan 4 Goku emerged, marking the climax of this season (or series), setting the stage for our final showdown against Supreme Demon King Gomah in the grand finale of Dragon Ball DAIMA.
