Grand Stitchery Power Puzzle Solution in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

The Grand Stitchery is a scary room found near the end of the Reanimation level in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5. Players get locked inside while giant needles sew together the Wrongside Outimal dolls. To escape, you need to solve a power puzzle: turn on all four switches, and then unlock the red door. This guide will quickly show you how to complete the puzzle and get out of this frightening area.

How to Solve the Grand Stitchery Puzzle in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

When you enter the Grand Stitchery, your first task is to escape. The exit door has four lights, and you’ll need to turn on four different power sources to open it.

Activating First Power Source in Grand Stitchery

First, remove the four batteries from the stitching stations and plug them into the charging slots on the wall. After all batteries are connected, you’ll see four power nodes appear on top of each stitching station.

Begin on the side of the room where the three sewing machines are grouped together. Use one of the Grabpack hands to hold onto the electrical panel near the doorway, and the other to grip the magnetic surface. This will allow you to climb onto the first sewing machine.

Next, move across the remaining two stitching stations until power is flowing to all three nodes, then drop down to the other side. Finally, activate the first power source by touching the last power node – it’s labeled “1” and located to the right of the locked door.

Activating Second Power Source in Grand Stitchery

You’ll see a wire linking the first and second power sources. Simply use your Pressure Hand to activate the pressure tube and adjust the pressure. This will send power to the second source, turning it on.

Activating Third Power Source in Grand Stitchery

With the second power source running in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, use one of the Grabpack hands to conduct electricity and the other to grip the magnetic wall. This will allow you to reach the stitching station on the left.

After wrapping GrabPack’s wire around the power node on the stitching station, use your second hand to reach the upper platform and power the second node. With both nodes powered, use your free hand to interact with the panel on the chain-link door, opening it and activating the third power source within the Grand Stitchery.

Be careful of the moving arm on the right side of this area. It can hurt you if you get in its way.

Activating Fourth Power Source in Grand Stitchery

Go inside the fenced area and pull the red lever to unlock a door. Then, carefully walk along the platform, dodging the swinging arms, until you reach another red lever at the end.

When you pull the second red lever, the big tank of Poppy Gel will begin to empty. After all the gel has drained, a hatch on top will open.

To solve the Grand Stitchery puzzle in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, simply jump into the vat and turn on the red valve located at the bottom. Once you do that, the fourth power source will activate. After that, you can escape through the red door to continue playing.
