Best Healer Build in Grounded 2 The Toxic Tangle

To create the most effective Healer Build in Grounded 2, players should equip the Cricket Armor, which was added in the Toxic Tangle Update. This build also requires two specific trinkets: the Fabulous Femur and the Nifty Needle.
Step 1: Get the Cricket Armor Set
To get the Cricket Armor Set, you’ll need to defeat Crickets, which are some of the toughest enemies in the game. These fast and aggressive bugs will quickly attack if given the chance, so be careful when you encounter them. Here’s what you’ll need to craft the armor set:
| Part | Recipe | Stats |
|---|---|---|
| Cricket Cap (Head) |
|
|
| Cricket Vest (Body) |
|
|
| Cricket Shin Guards (Legs) |

Step 2: Get the Fabulous Femur and Nifty Needle Trinkets
The Fabulous Femur is a rare item dropped by all Cricket enemies – including O.R.C. Crickets – but it’s difficult to obtain, with a drop rate of 5% or lower depending on the specific Cricket.
While the hunt is on, players should use the Nifty Needle. It boosts the damage of Charged Shots by 10%.
The Fabulous Femur offers two benefits: Lucky Flurry, which gives attacks a 7% chance to increase critical hit chance by 25% for 3 seconds, and Fall Protection, which halves fall damage. Fall Protection is particularly helpful for ranged players, who are often vulnerable to being knocked off high areas.
Step 3: Mutations and Best Weapons
Now, for mutations, players need to go with Bardic Inspiration, which has the following effects:
- Attacks with Bows and Greatbows have a 20% chance to buff the player and nearby allies’ damage by 15% for 10 seconds.
- Perfect shots with Bows and Greatbows will buff the player and nearby allies’ critical hit chance by 5% for 10 seconds.
- Dodges have a 20% chance to buff the player and nearby allies’ stamina regeneration by 25% for 10 seconds.
Next, select Pheromone Shot. When you hit a target perfectly with a Bow or Greatbow, it activates special effects:
- Nearby Buggies will deal 35% more damage for 15 seconds.
- Nearby Buggies will be targeted 100% more often in combat for 15 seconds.
For your other two Mutations, choose Trapper PEEP.R to significantly boost critical hit damage, and Reliable Friend to revive teammates and buggies much faster.
To finish this character build, players should choose two specific weapons: the Cricket Lute Bow and the Discord.

You can use any close-range weapon you prefer with this setup, but the most important thing is to practice hitting accurate, fully-charged shots with the two recommended bows.
The Cricket Lute Bow has a 35% chance to heal nearby players and Buggies whenever it hits a target. The Discord, a similar bow, instead has a chance to apply random negative effects to enemies when landing a critical hit.
Switch between these two weapons to deal the most damage, heal yourself, and throw enemies off balance, particularly when fighting challenging bosses.
