In the fictional game “Grounded 2”, Sharp Spices are crucial components for advanced recipes, particularly at higher levels. These valuable items can exclusively be sourced from particular spots within Brookhollow Park. Unlike ordinary resources, locating these spices requires precise knowledge of their hidden locations.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the vast expanse of the map in Grounded 2! With towering grass stalks obstructing visibility from all angles, it’s remarkably easy to overlook critical resource deposits. Here are some essential locations that players should mark on their radar to secure those elusive Spicy Shards.

How to Get Spicy Shards in Grounded 2

In the game “Grounded 2”, you get Spicy Shards by smashing the Spicy Candy, which resembles a red chili pepper candy, that is scattered across Brookhollow Park. However, you can only shatter this candy using a Tier 2 Omni-Hammer.

To access the Omni-Tool upgrade, you should gather these items first: one Ladybug Head, three pieces of Lingonberry Leather, and 2000 units of Raw Science. Once you have these, take them to a Ranger Station. After that, your next task is locating Spicy Candies.

Each Spicy Candy drops two to five Spicy Shards when mined, which appear as small yellow chunks.

Spicy Candy Locations

As a seasoned gamer, I’ve found that the Picnic Table is hands down the optimal spot for farming Spicy Shards. This little nook holds a whopping seven Spicy Candies, all conveniently located in one place! Let me break it down for you:

1. The first candy is right smack dab in the center of the table.
2. To its left, you’ve got another waiting to be plucked.
3. The third one is nestled in the top-left corner.
4. Moving clockwise, the fourth candy can be found in the upper right corner.
5. The fifth candy resides in the top-center area.
6. Continuing counterclockwise, you’ll find the sixth candy in the lower left corner.
7. Last but not least, the seventh candy is situated in the lower right corner of this Spicy Shard goldmine!

  1. Climb the folded cloth to reach the top of the Picnic Table, and you’ll find a Spicy Candy right in front of you.

    2. From the table, go underneath the folds of the picnic cloth to find another Spicy Candy.

    Continue forward, and you’ll see three Hot Cha Chas boxes on top of each with an Orb Weaver Jr. nearby. There are two Spicy Candies here, one under the three boxes and one on top of them.

  2. Use the croquet mallet to reach the other side of the table, and you’ll find the Picnic Table Briefcase. Open the briefcase using the code 137 (left) and 514 (right) to find three more Spicy Candies inside.

You can also discover Spicy Candies at different spots, but none offer as much as the Picnic Table does.

In the Entrance area, you’ll discover Two Spicy Candies resting on top of a Trash Can. Be prepared for some acrobatic moves to retrieve them!

To your right, a bit further southwest from BURG.L’s head, there’s a Spicy Candy located close to the edge of the wooden table that stands in front of the snack bar. This sweet treat is nestled next to the Hot Cha Chas snack box, which happens to have an Orb Weaver nest beneath it.

West of the Picnic Table lies an undistinguished cavern, inhabited by a young Northern Scorpion. To navigate to a chamber containing a Spicy Candy and some crude scientific findings, follow the cave’s right-hand wall. Your Red Soldier Ant Buggy will be essential for traversing this area.
