Grow a Garden – Complete Corrupted Event Guide

Over the recent updates, the developers of “Grow a Garden” have changed their approach in presenting content for players. Rather than launching a fresh event every week such as the Easter Event or Angry Plant Event, they are now concentrating on events that progressively unfold over a span of two weeks instead.

Based on that pattern, nurturing your garden in the “Corrupted Event” will expand upon the Zen Event’s perks and offerings, introducing unique crops, pets, mutations, and additional features. The Corrupted Event is scheduled to conclude on August 2, marking the end of all Zen- and Corrupted-related content. This guide provides a summary of what’s new for you to collect, plus a brief overview of the Corrupted Event in “Grow a Garden”.

Travis Kelce’s Celebrity Guest Event

Before the Corrupted Event update had even begun, developer Jandel hosted a star-studded event that lasted twenty minutes, focusing on football legend Travis Kelce. During this event, my own avatar, Jandel Monkey, and Travis’s freshly created avatar graced both public and private servers. For a brief spell, these servers transformed into vibrant stadiums to accommodate us all.

As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: We took a moment to chat about football, life, and our shared love for GaG. Then, the admin activated some fun mayhem! All of us players were suddenly caught up in new weather events, giving us a chance to grab valuable variants, including an amazing new Touchdown with a 125x multiplier. To make things even more exciting, gear and seed shops were restocked with rare items popping up all over the place – Master Sprinklers, Sugar Apples, Beanstalks, Burning Buds, and Cacaos were appearing left and right!

Approximately an hour prior to the update, players were treated to both Disco and BlackHole themed weather occurrences.

Corrupt Channeller’s Quest

Following the update, a fresh Non-Player Character, the Corrupt Channeller, emerged on the event stage. Players can embark on missions and garner prizes by offering him Tranquil fruits; however, there’s a twist: he will only accept fruits of particular weights, so it’s essential to cultivate suitable ones and ensure they have undergone mutation before presenting them to him.

Sometimes, he’ll request dollars billingly named “Sheckles”. Every piece of fruit or payment you give him will net you one random prize from his constantly changing reward pool, which refreshes every hour. There’s no limit to how many times you can give, so feel free to keep contributing for additional prizes.

Kitsune Chest

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement about the enchanting Kitsune statue nestled delightfully between the Channellers. This captivating figure isn’t merely a decorative piece; it has been transformed into an interactive experience! Now, by carefully submitting 10 fruits – specifically, 5 Tranquil and 5 Corrupted – I can earn myself some tantalizing Kitsune Chests!

1. A rare berry that can restore your health.
2. A shiny stone that increases your attack power.
3. A mysterious seed that grows into a valuable plant.
4. A magical feather that boosts your defense.
5. A unique shell that grants temporary invincibility.
6. A glowing crystal that offers a surprise bonus!

Kodama 14.05%

If a piece of fruit exhibits both Calm and Tainted traits, then it falls under both classifications, meaning you’ll require less fruit to obtain the chest. Also, Kitsune Chests provide either pets or crop seeds but do not contain any cosmetic items.

Zen Shop & Zen Channeller

In connection with the latest update, which expands on version 1.15.0, the Zen Shop and Zen Channeller are now accessible for you to explore and acquire items. However, some additional features have been introduced in the Chi Trader’s inventory that weren’t present earlier. To obtain these new additions, you’ll require Chi, which can be accrued by offering Tranquil fruits to the Tanuki NPC or completing quests assigned by the Zen Channeller.
