As a long-time fan of the Guilty Gear series, I’m beyond excited for the upcoming Season 4 DLC Pass! The announcement during EVO was like a dream come true, as we finally get to welcome back fan-favorite characters Dizzy and Venom, alongside two newcomers: Unika and the unexpected crossover with Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
In the latest update, Guilty Gear Strive unveiled the lineup for its Season 4 DLC: Dizzy and Venom make their comeback, joined by two fresh faces – Unika, a new character, and Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. This marks Lucy as the inaugural guest fighter in the Guilty Gear series. Additionally, several other enhancements and new game modes are planned for the game.
In simpler terms, Guilty Gear Strive, released in 2021, is the seventh major installment of Arc System Works’ popular fighting game series, which has received widespread praise. With three seasons of content updates, this game has attracted a larger fanbase by introducing beloved veterans like Slayer and A.B.A., as well as new favorites such as Asuka and Bedman. At the EVO tournament, Arc System Works unveiled the upcoming DLC Pass for Season 4.
In the new season of “Strive,” Queen Dizzy, formerly known as Dizzy and married to Ky Kiske, makes her return as the initial character. Fans have long anticipated Dizzy’s inclusion due to her family being present in the game, and she was a veteran character conspicuously missing from the roster. Additionally, Venom, with his distinct move set, is another fan-favorite character that has been added. An intriguing surprise is the arrival of Lucy, a guest fighter hailing from “Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners.”

Lucy is slated to be the final newcomer in “Guilty Gear Strive’s” fourth season, expected to debut in 2025. Preceding her are Unika, an entirely new character, and Venom. Both Unika and Venom may contribute significantly to the upcoming “Guilty Gear” anime production. The release order follows Queen Dizzy, Venom, Unika, and Lucy.
