Halo: Campaign Evolved, Remake of Combat Evolved, Revealed
Halo Studios has officially announced a remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved. The game, titled Halo: Campaign Evolved, was initially spotted on the Xbox Store before the official announcement. This remake will focus solely on the single-player campaign and, for the first time in the series’ history, will also be released on PlayStation 5. Fans can expect the game to launch in 2026.
For some time, there have been rumors about a remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Following a hint from Halo Studios last year, leaks surfaced suggesting a campaign-only version was in development, and the evidence kept growing. Now, we can confirm the rumors are true – the classic game is being rebuilt for current generation consoles.
