As a dedicated Halo fan who has been playing since the original game graced our consoles, I must say that the Operation: Fleetcom update for Halo Infinite is nothing short of spectacular! This latest update offers a tantalizing blend of nostalgia and innovation, with the addition of classic modes like VIP from Halo 3 and Headhunter from Halo: Reach. The inclusion of the Operator armor and Haunted Helmet from Halo: Reach is just the cherry on top for us old-school fans.

The Operation: Fleetcom update for Halo Infinite is now active! This fresh update for Halo Infinite lasts from July 30 to September 3.

Approaching its third anniversary, I’m still thrilled by Halo Infinite‘s efforts to keep things exciting with their Operations – smaller scale counterparts to traditional video game seasons. The latest one, Operation: Fleetcom, has been a game-changer, packing a punch with fresh content and making a significant impact on the FPS developed by 343 Industries.

Alongside introducing a fresh 20-level battle pass, the latest update for Halo Infinite, titled Operation: Fleetcom, has included the return of the VIP game mode from Halo 3 and soon, Headhunter mode from Halo: Reach. Additionally, the Operator armor and Haunted Helmet from Halo: Reach have been incorporated into Halo Infinite via this update. The Haunted Helmet can be acquired through The Exchange for 75,000 Spartan Points, a currency that can now be earned in every completed match. Conversely, the Operator armor will serve as a reward for advancing through Operation: Fleetcom’s battle pass. Three new armor sets, including Crime Crusher, Ghost of Reach, and Oblivion’s Herald, have also been made available in the Halo Infinite store.

Players using Forge will be thrilled to discover that the latest update for Halo Infinite has brought about substantial alterations to its built-in editor. A fresh nav marker system and messaging platform are intended to enhance the user experience within Halo Infinite’s robust Forge mode. Furthermore, the entire campaign soundtrack of Halo Infinite, along with over a thousand lines from the popular multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer’s voice bank from the Halo franchise, have been integrated into the editor, providing creators with additional resources to design and experiment with new content.

Beyond introducing fresh material and enhancing functions, Operation: Fleetcom underwent various modifications suggested by the player community, as confirmed by the development team. Notably, several weapons, including popular ones like the M41 Spnkr rocket launcher and the S7 Sniper rifle from Halo Infinite, have been fine-tuned. Additionally, both the Banshee and Ghost vehicles’ settings have been readjusted.

As a dedicated fan, I’m super excited about the upcoming Operations for Halo Infinite! First up is ‘Champions’, which kicks off on September 3 and runs through October 8. Following that, we’ve got the Halloween Operation from October 8 to November 5. Both events will feature new battle passes, with the Champions pass drawing inspiration from warriors and the idea of connection for its rewards. The Halloween Operation, as you might guess, will offer spooky treats inspired by fall celebrations!

Halo Infinite Operation: Fleetcom Patch Notes

NEW OPERATION: FLEETCOM

With this latest update comes the simultaneous rollout of the Fleetcom Operation, offering a complimentary 20-level progression system and merchandise packs themed after Halo: Reach.

NEW MULTIPLAYER GAME MODE: VIP

In Halo Infinite, you can now engage in a team-based game mode similar to VIP, which initially debuted in Halo 3. This mode is accessible through both matchmaking and custom games. In this VIP mode, two groups of four players compete against each other, with the objective being to eliminate the opposing team’s designated VIP (Very Important Player), while simultaneously protecting your own team’s VIP.

SHOP ITEMS AVAILABLE IN EXCHANGE

As a long-time Halo fan with countless hours spent battling through the game’s various campaigns, I’m always on the lookout for new gear and equipment to add to my collection. The Haunted Helmet and Abyssal Messenger Helmet attachment caught my eye in the latest Shop bundle release. To get my hands on these spooky yet stylish items, I can either head to the Exchange menu and fork over 75,000 Spartan Points (SP), or opt for the Ghost of Reach bundle in the Shop menu instead. Having experienced the excitement of the original Halo game set on the mysterious planet of Reach, I might just have to go for the bundle and relive those memories once more.

ADDITIONAL SPARTAN POINT REWARDS

From now on, players will earn 100 Spartan Points (SP) for every game they finish after completing their daily tasks. The rewards for these daily tasks stay the same; the first one awards 250 Spartan Points and the second one grants 500 XP.

FORGE IMPROVEMENTS

Creators of forges now have at their disposal more than a thousand voiceover phrases spoken by Jeff Steitzer, the renowned Halo multiplayer announcer.
