In March 2026, Pikachu and Hatsune Miku are set to join forces again for a live concert. This marks the second anniversary of their joint project, Pokémon Presents: Hatsune Miku PROJECT VOLTAGE.
In 2023, Project Voltage, a collaborative effort, brought together the worlds of Pokemon and Vocaloid’s iconic character, Hatsune Miku, resulting in 18 songs. Notably, Vocaloid is a software that generates vocal music without requiring an actual singer. Instead, each unique voice corresponds to a specific character, and these characters are visually represented by 3D avatars. Hatsune Miku, who first appeared as a model back in 2007, has been the most well-known Vocaloid model since then.
Hatsune Miku and Pokemon Live in Concert
The upcoming concert titled “Pokemon starring Hatsune Miku VOLTAGE Live!” is set to take place from March 20-22, 2026, at the LaLa Arena in Tokyo Bay. This show will bring characters such as Pikachu and Meloetta from Pokemon onto the stage, alongside 3D models of virtual singers like Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO. A special guest appearance will be made by Kasane Teto, a fan-created voicebank. There will be performances scheduled for both daytime and evening sessions over the course of the three days, ensuring fans have multiple chances to witness this unique collaboration. Ticket prices for the event range from $67 (¥9,900) to $94 (¥13,900), with discounted tickets available for those aged 18 and under at $26 (¥3,900). Reserved seating on the fourth floor can also be purchased for $60 (¥8,900). Ticket lottery applications will open on September 1 and run until September 21, with applications being accepted from overseas fans as well.
In Project Voltage, the tunes unveiled were thematically centered around the 18 distinct elemental categories of Pokémon. Each had its own distinctive melody and visual accompaniment, crafted by different artists, resulting in a unique tone and character for each track. Furthermore, these songs incorporated snippets from the music of the original Pokémon games.

Since its 25th anniversary in 2021, Pokemon has been partnering with numerous brands like Razer, PUMA, McDonald’s, and Boss Coffee. Most recently, the announcement of a collaboration between Pokemon and Shonen Jump caught fans off guard.
Recently, I’ve been swept up in a whirlwind of exciting projects as Hatsune Miku! In January, the movie “COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing” was unleashed in Japan, and it graced U.S. theaters in April. To add to the excitement, I even teamed up with McDonald’s for a unique collaboration! But wait, there’s more – my very own Hatsune Miku expansion pack for Magic: The Gathering was also launched!
