Once you finish the last friendship task for Cruella De Vil in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch, you’ll unlock a stylish new outfit. The “Headdress to Impress” quest involves helping Cruella, Daisy, and Sally organize a fashion show. While only one can win, it appears someone has interfered with the competition, and you’ll need to locate a damaged hat in the game to continue.
How To Trigger Headdress To Impress Quest In DDV
You can start the “Headdress to Impress” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley by becoming good friends with Cruella De Vil – you need to reach friendship level 10 with her. You’ll also need to have unlocked both Daisy and Sally first, if you haven’t already.
Then, talk to Cruella. She’ll tell you about her plan for a hat-designing fashion show.
Talk with Daisy and Sally and ask if they wish to participate, which they accept.
To help them create the perfect hat, collect these materials.

While delivering supplies to Daisy at Snow White’s hut, you overhear Cruella criticizing Sally’s work. Cruella says she’s overwhelmed with tasks and then goes to work on her hat. After helping Daisy, the Dreamers decide to see if Cruella needs any assistance.
Talk to the designer – she seems a little too eager to give you tasks – and then go collect the materials needed to build a runway for her fashion show.

Having just let Cruella De Vil have her moment on the runway, you go to see how Daisy and Sally are doing, especially since Cruella is already announcing her victory.
When the players return to Snow White’s hut, they discover their hat is gone. They’ll need to find it by fishing it out of the Fortress in DDV – but it will be damaged.
How To Fish For Damaged Hat From The Fortress In DDV
To get the broken hat in the DDV Fortress, go there from either Haute Plateau or Madsih March. Then, find the small pond to the northwest and fish in the golden shimmering water.
Find the broken hat and have Mirabel repair it. Then, let Cruella know the competition is still happening now that the hat is fixed. Once you’ve chosen Dreamers as the judge, set up the fashion show runway at Wishblossom Ranch and put on a hat to begin!
Take a photo and tell Cruella which hat is the winner, but you get to keep both of them.
You’ve finished the Headdress to Impress quest! As a reward, the designer will give you the Black, White, and Chic All Over outfit.
