It’s possible that Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga might arrive on PlayStation 5 (PS5) sooner than expected, based on a hint dropped by Jez Corden on social media. This game, which currently is an exclusive for Xbox, may be one of the next Xbox first-party games to expand its availability to rival consoles.
In response to a Twitter user asking whether the game would be released, Corden provided a clear hint about its potential launch.
“Not if, “when!” and when is pretty soon from what I’ve been hearing,” he said.

Microsoft has been considering a strategy to expand Xbox games beyond its own console, such as PlayStation and even Nintendo Switch, due to declining sales of Xbox hardware. To boost gaming revenue in the future, they are exploring various options. The latest Xbox exclusive confirmed for PS5 is Forza Horizon 5, set to launch this spring. Additionally, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Bethesda’s newest game (rumored for an April release) will be available on these platforms starting this spring as well.
On Tuesday, Sony revealed that their initial PlayStation State of Play event for this year is scheduled for February 12th. It’s uncertain at this point if there will be an announcement for Hellblade 2 or other Xbox games on the PS5 during the over forty-minute broadcast.
