Players of ARC Raiders now have an easier time finding what keycards unlock, thanks to a helpful guide created by a dedicated member of the community. Keycards are common items in the game, and knowing where to use them will save players time and effort.
Since its release on October 30th, ARC Raiders has quickly become a popular extraction shooter. It reached over 459,000 concurrent players on Steam and continues to see over 300,000 daily players nearly a month later. This success puts ARC Raiders ahead of games like Helldivers 2 and Battlefield 6, currently ranking it as the fourth most-played game on Steam over the past 30 days.
ARC Raiders Fan Makes Helpful Interactive Keycard Use Map
In ARC Raiders, players can find keycards throughout the game to unlock doors, containers, and restricted areas. To help players keep track of these, a Reddit user named pRoDeeD created a free PDF guide. This guide shows where all the locked doors are located, which keycards open them, and includes links to video walkthroughs. The guide organizes locations by map, detailing where to use the 20 different standard keycards. Most maps have four keycard-protected locations, except for the Dam Battlegrounds, which has eight.
In ARC Raiders, players can find keycards in a couple of ways. The best way is usually to search containers for random loot – areas with more valuable loot seem to have a higher chance of dropping a keycard. You can also get them by participating in player-versus-player (PvP) combat while you’re looking for keycards.
If you’re looking for an easier-to-get keycard in Arc Raiders, the Raider Hatch Key is a good option. You can make one at a Utility Station using six ARC Alloy and 50 Plastic Parts. Or, once you reach Level 12, you can buy it from Shani in Speranza for 9,000 coins. You can also find them in Raider Stashes scattered around the game world. These keys are really helpful if you want to quickly leave a map without losing any of your collected items. The in-game map and external tools show where you can use these keys. Look for locations marked like regular extraction zones, but with a special downwards arrow icon.
The interactive map now includes Stella Montis, the new map released in November with the ARC Raiders North Line update. Stella Montis offers fast-paced battles in a compact, high-altitude environment with tight spaces. While Embark Studios hasn’t announced any future maps yet, they likely have more in development. A free update coming in December will probably introduce new conditions to existing maps. The map’s creator is committed to keeping it current with all new game content, and a link to the latest version is available within the map’s interface.
