Matrix Games 25th Anniversary and Home of Wargamers 2025

Matrix is celebrating 25 years in the wargaming business with their annual Home of Wargamers event on Thursday, September 25th at 6:00 PM CEST. It’s a chance to see what’s new and upcoming for their most popular wargame series, and much more than just a birthday celebration.

Here’s the key intel I got from them, and what you can expect:

  • The future of the Combat Mission series will be revealed.
  • News update about Armored Brigade II.
  • News about Rule the Waves 3 latest DLC- Expanded Battles
  • You’ll get to know more about Strategic Command: American Civil War – Concert of Europe.
  • They’re also teasing a sneak peek at Modern Naval Warfare.
  • And, get this, there’s going to be a “truly special surprise” for fans of the War in the East series. It’s probably worth tuning in just for that if you’re a fan of the series.

Representatives from the teams behind games like Rule the Waves 3, WEGO WWII: Overlord, Command: Modern Operations, Flashpoint Campaigns, and Nuclear War Simulator will be attending.
