After a slightly uncomfortable dinner with your mom and sister, and a rescue mission to save your dad from an alien cult in Wyoming, you’ll finally get to explore the Circuit Arcadia Zoo in High on Life 2. But there’s a catch: a new character needs your help on a long-awaited trip.

Jeppy is a lively alien who only knows how to say his name, and surprisingly, he’s your half-brother! For now, the important thing is to keep him entertained for your mom, and to complete the ‘Playdate With Jeppy’ objective, you’ll need to find him three times – he’s hiding in three different locations throughout the game.

How to Start Playdate With Jeppy in High on Life 2

After completing the main story – dealing with Senator Muppy Doo, solving Larry Pinkstock’s murder, and rescuing your dad – you can begin this quest at Circuit Arcadia Zoo. It starts automatically when you approach the Zoo’s Gift Shop, which has a fast travel point right nearby. As you get close to the entrance, your mom will call and ask you to play with Jeppy.

Okay, so then the game asks you to free your half-brother from this… weird bubble thing he’s in! After that, it gives you a list of things you need to do to finish the quest, like a handy to-do list. It’s pretty straightforward!

Some players have found one objective difficult to complete because it can’t be retried if missed. Be sure to stay close to Jeppy so you don’t skip it, as you won’t be able to save your progress manually in High on Life 2 and may miss out on an achievement.

As soon as you let Jeppy go, he’ll run off quickly. Keep up with him and make sure he doesn’t get into trouble. You’ll eventually find him trapped in a pen with alien toads—use Gus’s vacuum to save him. You’ll have to do this a few times during this part of the quest, so be prepared to use the vacuum whenever Jeppy seems about to touch something dangerous.

After what happened at the Petting Zoo, Jeppy will lead you back to the square in front of the Gift Shop, where you began. Gus then proposes a game of hide-and-seek. During the game, the screen will go dark while Gus counts to ten and Jeppy finds a hiding place. You won’t have to go far to find Jeppy, but his hiding spots aren’t shown on the screen, so here’s where he likes to hide:

The first hiding place is right ahead at the start of the game, a little to the right. He’s hidden inside a fountain in the main square, right outside the Gift Shop, behind a clear plastic screen.

Now, go into the Gift Shop. You’ll find Jeppy hiding behind the sunglasses on the right side at the back of the store.

The third spot is a little tricky to locate, but it’s still nearby. It’s the Spaceforest Café, located across from the Gift Shop, just outside the square and up a level – you might remember it as where your mom took you for that awkward family dinner. You’ll see Jeppy right in front of the café’s sign, and you’ll need to use Gus’ vacuum power to bring him down.

After that, Jeppy will guide you through the last step of the mission, called the Photo Op. Once that’s finished, follow Jeppy to the café entrance where your mom will talk to you. This finishes the quest and unlocks the secret ‘Nice Day With Jeppy’ achievement.
