In High on Life 2, you’ll face many enemies while completing your objectives, but sometimes, what appears to be an obstacle isn’t an enemy at all. During the first mission, while searching for Lizzie, you’ll need to enter the Vet Building. A security guard is blocking the way, and it’s not immediately obvious how to proceed. Here’s a guide on how to get the Vet Building Key Card in High on Life 2.
High on Life 2 Vet Building Key Card: How to Gain The Access Card From the Security Guard
In High on Life 2, as you progress along the main path, you’ll find a security guard blocking the way to the Vet Building – similar to the guards who stopped you from entering the zoo at the beginning of the first quest. However, this time you can get past them, but you’ll need a specific strategy. First, use Sweezy’s Time Bubble ability to sneak past the guard.
You’ll then find yourself in a small area right outside the Vet Building entrance. When you try the door on your left, you’ll discover you need a key card to get in, and the security guard isn’t willing to give it to you.
You can’t harm the guard yet, and Sweezy hints at finding a peaceful solution – especially since it’s his last day before retirement. However, the only way to move forward is actually to eliminate him. You simply need to wait until you’re able to use a weapon, either your guns or the knife. Don’t overthink it; that’s all there is to it.
To get the Vet Building Key Card in High on Life 2, all you need to do is attack the guard when you can. After you knock him down, you can press the button to enter the building. If you want to be helpful, you can go back and finish him off later – your first attack won’t kill him. Maybe he’ll enjoy a peaceful retirement!
