Following the tremendous success of the first game, a second installment of Hogwarts Legacy was almost inevitable, but with the official announcement of the second game, enthusiasts can now begin speculating about possible characters, locations, and creatures that might appear in the eagerly awaited sequel to one of 2023’s most anticipated titles. At present, specific details about the game are scarce, providing ample opportunity for speculation and generating excitement. The sequel offers a wealth of unexplored Wizarding World lore to delve into, as well as numerous beloved characters, locations, and creatures that were absent in the original.

In Hogwarts Legacy 2, since the game events occur approximately a century before the main series, it significantly narrows down the characters that could potentially make guest appearances. Given the possible duration between game releases, it’s plausible that Merope Gaunt could show up in future installments of the Hogwarts Legacy series. Born in 1907, she is best known in the storyline as the mother of Tom Marvolo Riddle Jr., who eventually transforms into Lord Voldemort.

This scene might reveal how he ended up under the Malfoy family’s ownership. Alternatively, the creators could surprise us by portraying the Malfoys from the past as kind and caring towards Dobby, treating him more like a cherished family member rather than the mistreated servant that Lucius and Narcissa treated him as in the original storyline.

Albus Dumbledore
