Hollow Knight: Silksong Surprise Release Date Has Made at Least One Game Delay

The creators of Faeland have chosen to delay the release of version 1.0 because Hollow Knight: Silksong is now set for launch on September 4 across PC, consoles, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. After much anticipation, Team Cherry has confirmed the arrival of Hollow Knight: Silksong. Not only that, but they’ve also announced additional content will be made available post-launch for this eagerly awaited game.

My journey as a dedicated fan began when Hollow Knight: Silksong was unveiled in February 2019, in a developer’s diary where Team Cherry revealed their ambitions to spin a new yarn in a different realm, with Hornet taking center stage. Initially, the announcement sparked excitement, but as time passed without any solid updates and a subsequent delay, apprehension set in among fans. The community, including myself, displayed a mix of nervousness and good-natured humor amidst the game’s seemingly suspended development. Now, with Hollow Knight: Silksong back on track, it unfortunately means that the release of another game will be postponed.

Faeland Postpones Full Release Due to Hollow Knight: Silksong

In Twitter, the creators of the role-playing game Faeland announced they won’t be launching version 1.0 on September 9 due to some unavoidable circumstances. However, they are planning to reveal a new release date shortly. Faeland, a captivating RPG reminiscent of classic 8-bit games, is currently in Early Access on Steam and was anticipated to hit version 1.0 on September 9. The game immerses players in the adventures of Sam, a proficient hunter navigating through a mystical world filled with magic, mythical creatures, and perilous dangers while interacting with NPCs, gaining new abilities, and discovering various items.

As reported by the creators, delaying the launch of Faeland is intended to allow it to debut at a point when it can get the appropriate focus and nurturing, given that this game has been in development for years. To be more precise, the project initially gained Kickstarter funding in 2018, exceeding its $29,000 target by raising $57,384 instead. Reactions to Talegames’ tweet were overwhelmingly positive, and although players expressed disappointment about version 1.0 being pushed back, they expressed their backing for the developers’ choice.

Although there isn’t a confirmed release date yet for the game “Faeland”, enthusiasts can eagerly anticipate the arrival of “Hollow Knight: Silksong” on September 4 instead. A follow-up to the 2017 original, the latest trailer showcases Hornet, the princess and protector of Hallownest, in a visually stunning, handmade world. In this fresh journey, Hornet finds herself captured and transported to a new realm. Now she must traverse unknown landscapes, encounter novel creatures, uncover hidden powers, and reveal secrets about her past.
