It’s reported that there’s a possibility Hollow Knight: Silksong won’t make an appearance at the Indie World Showcase scheduled for August 7, 2025.
As a passionate gamer myself, I couldn’t help but get excited when Nintendo unexpectedly announced an Indie World Showcase for this very week! The surprise came hot on the heels of their Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, leaving many of us hopeful that we might catch a glimpse of more Hollow Knight: Silksong. However, it seems our dreams may have been prematurely inflated, as recent reports indicate that we won’t be seeing more of Silksong at this event.
Hollow Knight: Silksong is ‘Not on the Cards’ for Indie World Showcase
According to a source from SwitchForce (as reported by MyNintendoNews), who has previously leaked information about this week’s Nintendo showcase, claims that Hollow Knight: Silksong may not be featured in the upcoming event. In his latest YouTube video, SwitchForce indicates that, as of his current knowledge, Hollow Knight: Silksong is unlikely to receive attention during the Indie World segment because the game has grown beyond that scope.
According to SwitchForce, players can look forward to trying out Hollow Knight: Silksong at Gamescom, as a demonstration version will also be provided there. Furthermore, he mentioned that marketing efforts are predominantly focusing on Xbox for the upcoming game, and the demo will be showcased on their portable devices during Gamescom.
