Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Opening Cinematic Shows Up Online

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the gaming industry has come a long way since I was young and playing Pong on our family’s Atari 2600. The recent leak of the opening cinematic for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered has me both excited and slightly frustrated as a player.

A sneak peek at the introductory film for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, due out on October 31, has found its way onto the internet prior to its official release.

The cinematic is nothing new, but it does give players a look at the updated visuals of the remaster. You can check it out for yourself below.

Originally released on PlayStation 4 back in 2017, Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a facelift with the Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered edition. This update, unveiled during the PlayStation State of Play in September, will cost $49.99 for new buyers. However, those who already own the original version can upgrade at a discounted rate of just $10. Interestingly, after announcing the remaster, Sony decided to increase the price of Horizon Zero Dawn on its official store by double.

In several areas, both on the Epic Games Store and Steam, the game was taken down because the updated version demands a PlayStation Network account, which wasn’t necessary for the initial PC release.
