The creator of the popular manga “Chainsaw Man,” Tatsuki Fujimoto, is suggesting a chilling new manga. It’s quite typical for mangaka to eventually endorse works by other creators, either because their publishers request it or because they genuinely enjoy them. Tatsuki Fujimoto follows this pattern and has previously recommended series such as “Chaos Game” and “School Back.

More recently, Kohei Horikoshi (of My Hero Academia fame) endorsed “Ichi the Witch” when its first volume was released. With already high expectations for its success, it’s thought that Horikoshi’s recommendation further increased its popularity. Similarly, Frieren, a character from another series, suggested an elf-themed manga, and sales experienced a significant surge as a result.

Fujimoto Recommends Manga That Started in December 2024

Tatsuki Fujimoto suggested a manga titled “I Want to Be Killed by Your Beautiful Self,” which roughly translates to “I Want to Be Killed by Someone Beautiful Like You.” Unfortunately, this manga is not yet officially published in English, but fans have given it an alternative title.

Fujimoto’s message on the obi is, “I like men who smell like danger.”

This chilling manga is penned by the author known as Roka Kouen (likely a pseudonym) and beautifully illustrated by Tsukasa Yoshino. It’s digitally published on Ichijin-plus, under the Comic Howl banner. The narrative revolves around Sei Tomoaki, whose life takes an unexpected turn following his reunion with Amawashi Hajime, a long-lost friend.

About three weeks back, Yoshino shared a video on her personal YouTube platform, illustrating a segment from the series.

Chainsaw Man Anime Set to Deliver News in March

Enthusiasts of “Chainsaw Man” eagerly anticipating updates on the upcoming “Reze” film might want to mark their calendars for AnimeJapan 2025, since it’s already been confirmed that details about the movie will be disclosed during this event.

It’s looking probable that we’ll see a fresh trailer soon, along with an official release date for the film, which has already been confirmed to hit screens this year. As for the “Reze” storyline, while it can easily fit within a movie, there are whispers suggesting it could become Season 2, but nothing is set in stone just yet.

Currently, we don’t have details on when the movie will be released internationally. However, considering that Shonen Jump films typically cater to a global audience, it’s quite likely that it will premiere in cinemas across numerous countries worldwide.
