As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that the main story mode in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the 72-Hour mode. This mode operates under an in-game clock, ticking away for 72 hours in total. Excluding menus and cutscenes, this timer continues to move forward in real-time, meaning every few minutes equates to an in-game hour. So, if you decide to play through every second of the game, you’re looking at approximately spending six hours on the 72-hour mode.
While that is the most you can get out of a playthrough, there are ways for you to speed up time and make a playthrough shorter should you want to quickly get to one of the multiple endings. Depending on your choices, there are multiple endings to get, leading to a decent amount of replayability or at least saving and going back to make different decisions.
How Long To 100% Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
Once they’ve finished the 72-hour gaming phase, players will gain access to the Overtime mode, providing them with an extra 24 hours within the game and approximately 2-3 more hours of gameplay. Upon completing Overtime, Infinite Mode will be unlocked, offering players an endless amount of playtime if they so choose. For gamers aiming to complete all the game’s achievements, there is a trophy for surviving seven consecutive days in Infinite Mode, equating to approximately 14 additional hours, depending on your approach during those days.
As a gamer, I find that most of the survival-oriented achievements in this game are pretty straightforward and will be earned effortlessly as I navigate through each game mode. The remaining ones, especially those with time constraints, can be easily completed during the week-long Infinite Mode.
