How Many Maps Are In Battlefield 6?

As a gamer, I’m super excited about diving into Battlefield 6 come launch, with its whopping nine maps scattered worldwide. However, during the open beta, we’ll only get a taste of some of the game’s terrains. The early access kicks off on August 7th, 2025, and for this exclusive group, there are three playable maps up for grabs: the intense Iberian Offensive, the strategic Liberation Peak, and the thrilling Siege of Cairo. These three maps will be available from the get-go, with more action to follow on the second weekend (August 14th to 17th), where we’ll also get our hands on a fourth map, the Empire State. Can’t wait!

All Maps In The Battlefield 6 Open Beta

During the beta, four maps will be accessible alongside game modes like Conquest, Closed Weapon Conquest, Breakthrough, Domination, King of the Hill, Rush, and Squad Deathmatch, which will be introduced in the second week.

Iberian Offensive

The first map in a pair, both set in Gibraltar, is named the Iberian Offensive. This particular map is larger and includes the use of tanks. The majority of combat occurs within the city streets, yet one side of the map features a considerable amount of greenery. A hazy atmosphere, filled with smoke, provides a melancholic setting against the otherwise picturesque island landscape.

Liberation Peak

The breathtakingly beautiful map known as Liberation Peak is strategically placed amidst the towering mountains of Tajikistan. As you might expect, it boasts ample open terrain, minimal structures, which significantly amplifies the danger posed by aerial attacks.

Siege of Cairo

The “Siege of Cairo” game scenario unfolds in the heart of Egypt’s capital city, where intense battles occur between foot soldiers and armored tanks. This setting offers a traditional urban combat experience, with players engaging in fierce skirmishes even within partially damaged buses.

Empire State (Only August 14th-17th)

The Empire State map, set in New York, will be accessible during the second weekend of the open beta, running from August 14th to the 17th. Players can engage in combat on rooftops and narrow streets without worrying about ground vehicles or aerial assaults.

All Battlefield 6 Maps At Launch

Alongside the four maps offered during the open beta, an extra five maps will be added at the game’s full launch. This means that Battlefield 6 will boast a grand total of nine unique maps for players to explore.

In some gaming modes, these levels will be divided into multiple smaller sectors. Consequently, it can be considered that there are effectively more distinct levels or maps available.

Operation Firestorm

The “Firestorm Operation” is a remastered battlefield from the game “Battlefield 3”, ideal for intense combat involving both ground and air vehicles, as well as foot soldiers. Known for its thrilling action, this classic “Battlefield” map is located in Iran.

Saints Quarter

The “Saints Quarter” is a battlefield exclusively for foot soldiers, situated in the heart of Gibraltar, featuring numerous winding passageways. Given its layout, firearms such as shotguns and submachine guns will be particularly effective as combatants maneuver around corners and clear structures.

New Sobek City

In simple terms, the map named “New Sobek City” is situated on the outskirts of Cairo, characterized by ongoing construction projects and expansive sand dunes. This map seems to promise a blend of infantry combats with the addition of tanks and attack helicopters.

Mirak Valley

Upon its release, Mirak Valley will be Battlefield 6’s most expansive map, featuring all varieties of vehicles amidst a battlefield reminiscent of World War I imagery and similar to that seen in Battlefield 1.

Manhattan Bridge

The Manhattan Bridge is slated to be the second setting in New York, with indications suggesting significant damage or collapse, though it remains uncertain if the bridge itself is the focus of the destruction.
